Pupillage applications

Applications for pupillage generally open on 1 September for the succeeding year.

To be considered for pupillage in 2024, applicants must submit (in PDF format) the supporting documents listed below to pupillage@rsabar.net.

Kindly note that the closing date to submit applications for pupillage is 6 October 2023.

1. Curriculum vitae;
2. A motivational letter;
3. A certified copy of passport/ID;
4. A certified copy of matriculation certificate/ Equivalent secondary educational qualification; and
5. Certified copy of LLB degree.

Applicants will receive feedback regarding the outcome of their applications, by early November, and must avail themselves to attend interviews scheduled for end of November. If you do not hear from us regarding the outcome of your application, kindly consider your application to have been unsuccessful.

Pupillage will commence in the last week of January each year. Upon receipt of your acceptance letter, you will be required to effect payment of R5500 to attend the pupillage training for the year.
